In honor of their 75th anniversary, City Credit Union is giving back to the Dallas-Fort Worth community. Throughout the month of March, City Credit Union partnered with Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls to collect shoes at their branch locations. Through their shoe drive, City Credit Union brought in 210 pairs of shoes, 163 pairs of socks and more than $1,200 in donations. Additionally, they hosted a Buckner shoes night at a Dallas Stars game that raised over $6,000 to purchase new shoes for vulnerable children. This partnership will continue throughout the year, as City Credit Union plans to host a school supply drive in August and a toy drive in December for children served through Buckner foster care and other programs.
