Discovery Trails is a scientific program that allows students to discover nature in its organic environment.

In the mystic waters of our spring fed ponds students will use scientific tools to discover the aquatic community in the springs of Camp Buckner.

In our rugged wilderness students will hike in the forest and investigate decomposing tree logs to discover the wildlife within.

Inspired by our unique rock structures students will act out the rock cycle and observe various types of rocks in their surroundings.

On our vast grasslands students will conduct a plot study to describe the biodiversity in Camp Buckner’s native grassland ecosystem.

Native American Archaeology
Along with discovering our history-rich dig site students will conduct a simulated archaeological dig and draw inferences about their findings.

In the midst of our beautiful campus students will use a compass to navigate through a prepared course.

Prayer Hike
Walking amongst some of the best hills in the country students will go on a guided hike, focused on noticing and appreciating God’s creation.
