January is National Mentor Month, and no mentors have more impact than those who serve through Buckner! Fifteen children are part of a new partnership with iStation that encourages reading skills. Mentors work with them three times a week.

For the first 30 minutes, students work on the iStation, which is the reading work on the iPads. For the next 30 minutes, they work with the mentors on spelling, phonics and other reading skills with paper and white boards.

Thanks to all the mentors who volunteer through Buckner Family Hope Centers. Because of your work today, the children we serve have brighter tomorrows.
