Friday photo: Celebrating National Adoption Month with the Dallas Stars

On Nov. 10, Buckner foster and adoptive children experienced Buckner Night with the Dallas Stars in celebration of National Adoption Month. Throughout the evening, there were activites for both the foster and adoptive children and Stars fans to participate in National Adoption Month. During the intermissions, some of the foster and adoptive children were able to go down to the tunnel and high five the Dallas Stars as they re-entered the ice. Throughout the game, Stars fans donated nearly 1,000 toiletries and children's books to be assembled into welcome kits for children entering foster care. And after the game, one foster family was able to do a meet-and-greet with some of the Dallas Stars, who signed jerseys, hockey pucks and posed for photos with the family.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate National Adoption Month with us and the Dallas Stars!
