The Buckner Family Place and Family Pathways ministries provide transitional services designed to eliminate the primary barriers to self-sufficiency: lack of education and life skills. These programs offer single parents:
• Enrollment in an academic degree plan
• Technical training
• Vocational or rehabilitation program
• Assistance with child care
In addition, residents are offered financial assistance, vocational training, parenting education, budget training, life skills and individual and group counseling. When you give to support single parents through our family ministries, you are becoming a voice for those who rarely have opportunities for a better future. Locations include: Buckner Family Pathways Dallas; Buckner Family Place Midland; Buckner Family Place Amarillo; Buckner Family Place and Child Development Center Lufkin; My Father's House Lubbock and Child Development Center; and Buckner Family Place Conroe.
