Camp Buckner Reopens for Session 5

(MARBLE FALLS) — After record rainfall and widespread flooding in Central Texas caused Camp Buckner to cancel Session 4 July 1-7, staff has announced that Session 5 will resume as planned July 8-14.

The camp experienced minor flood damage during the storms, but all major repairs have been made.

“We are looking forward to another great session,” said Chad Patterson, director of Camp Buckner. “Everything has been cleaned up and cleared out. Camp will proceed as usual.”

Patterson said that full refunds are being offered to children originally scheduled to attend camp July 1-7. He also said that staff will do its best to reschedule for those children affected if possible.
