With locations in more than 17 U.S. cities and 10 countries around the globe, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved with Buckner. Below are some of the areas with the greatest need for volunteers.
Collect Humanitarian Aid
Donations to the Buckner Center for Humanitarian Aid improve the lives of orphans, families and at-risk children locally and around the world. You can make an individual donation.
Here are some of the items consistently in high demand:

The Center for Humanitarian Aid also receives donations of new and used furniture and home appliances. Get your friends or church involved or do it by yourself.

Go Somewhere with Buckner Missions
Every year, Buckner sends thousands of individuals and church groups on short-term mission trips to minister to orphans and at-risk children and families in the United States and 10 countries around the world. Visit www.ItsYourMission.com to learn how you can get involved.
Serve At-Risk Children in Your Area
Buckner International sponsors a number of after-school programs and child development centers serving at-risk children in the state of Texas. Programs are available in Dallas, Fort Worth, Amarillo, Lufkin, Lubbock, Longview, Amarillo and Houston.

Host a Shoe Drive
Hundreds of people across the United States are leading their church, company, school and civic organization to collect new shoes. You can host a shoe drive – there are just a few easy steps.
Step 1: Sign up to host a shoe drive – be a shoe drive coordinator.
Step 2: Promote the shoe drive.
Step 3: Collect new shoes.
Step 4: Pack and ship the shoes.

Mentor with KIDS HOPE USA
Be part of a National Mentoring Program that involves one congregation and one school. As a KIDS HOPE mentor, you would be meeting weekly with one at-risk child during school hours. Learn more.
