On Nov. 19, Buckner foster and adoptive children experienced Buckner Night with the Dallas Stars in celebration of National Adoption Month. During the period intermissions, some of the children were able to go down to the tunnel and high five the Dallas Stars as they re-entered the ice. During the evening, Stars fans donated close to 600 items — from toiletries to children’s books — for children being placed in local Buckner foster families.
