Kids' creativity highlighted at Houston Astros game

Buckner Family Hope Centers in Houston celebrated their hometown heroes with drawings

Kids at the Buckner Family Hope Centers at Reed Road and Aldine in Houston, Texas, had the opportunity to share their creativity with the Houston Astros baseball team at Sunday night's game to celebrate Kids Day.

Drawings of each player were highlighted on the big screen at Minute Maid Park alongside the player's stats as they came up to bat.

The children had a great time drawing some of their favorite baseball players.

"Many of our children and their parents are huge Astros fans, so to have the opportunity to draw pictures of their hometown heroes was a fun way to honor the team," shared Shonice Reed, director of the Buckner Family Hope Center at Aldine.
