Youth basketball team spreads Christmas cheer in Houston

It's easy around the holidays to get wrapped up in what gifts you might receive this Christmas season, but for the kids on the Nationz Best Avengers 13u Blue team, they were more concerned about the presents they could give other children who may not receive any gifts this Christmas.

The group of competitive basketball players stopped by the Buckner Family Hope Center at Reed Road in Houston to drop off 40 gifts they bought themselves to give to children in need.

"It's really special to see such compassion among children," said Dior Burns, director of the Family Hope Center at Reed Road. "These gifts will be such a blessing to the children who will receive them. They saw the need and responded with such generous hearts. Thank you Nationz Best Avengers!"
