In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, one principle has shown through again and again. At Buckner International, we truly are a family. We each bring our strengths and passions to the table for the betterment of every child, family and senior we serve. 

Take Halliburton for example. The company is a financial supporter of Buckner, but it’s more than that. It’s part of the Buckner family. So when Buckner needed help protecting children and strengthening families across the region, Halliburton stepped forward.

While others couldn’t find a way to evacuate the children served at the Buckner Assessment Center in Beaumont, Halliburton employees pushed forward, forging a path to safely transport the young people to Camp Buckner.

When families were streaming into the Buckner Family Hope Center at Houston/Aldine – located mere miles from Halliburton’s headquarters – supplies donated by Halliburton employees were waiting for them.

Halliburton employees were there again when Buckner families needed help cleaning out their homes. They removed items from homes, helping jump start the recovery process for families who already were stretching thin resources before the storm.
