Today, nearly 60 people graduated from life skills and parenting classes at the Buckner Family Hope Center at Bachman Lake in Dallas. For the last nine weeks, these students diligently completed their courses in Faith and Finance, Nurturing Parents and Jobs for Life and today celebrated their achievements and commitment to strengthening their family. 

"This was not an easy thing," said Ricardo Brambila, director of the Family Hope Center. "They have sacrificed so much time to participate in these classes. They have learned how to deal with conflict, how to be good parents, and how to seek and maintain a job. But mostly, they have learned not to be ashamed and how to work hard for their goals. We are so proud of them and look forward to seeing them continue to display the same courage, dedication and servant spirit in their future as they have displayed during these classes the last nine weeks."
