Last week, more than 900 people attended an Easter celebration on the proposed site of the new Buckner Family Hope Center at Bachman Lake in Dallas. Around the property, volunteers worked stations that promoted family fun from carnival games and potato sack races to face painting, decorating Easter eggs and a massive Easter egg hunt. Lunch and snacks were also provided and worship music played throughout the day.

This is the second year the Family Hope Center has hosted an Easter celebration for the families residing in Bachman Lake. This year, individuals distributed shoes provided by Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls®. As volunteers placed shoes on the children's feet, they also prayed for them and their families.

"The Easter celebration is always a fun event for the families in the Bachman Lake area," said Ricardo Brambila, Family Hope Center director. "It's a great way to reach out to the families in the area, help introduce them to the Family Hope Center and the services we offer. Many families look forward to this event and it's a joy to see them smiling and laughing with each other."
