For Spring Break, families in Aldine spent their break having fun at various events offered through the Buckner Family Hope Center at Aldine.

In partnership with Second Baptist Church in Kingwood, volunteers went to five of local apartment complexes around the Buckner Family Hope Center and did interactive Bible studies with families.

In addition to the 50 volunteers who were organizing activies for the children at the apartment complexes, another 40 volunteers were at the Family Hope Center working on work projects such as painting, sorting donations in the resale shop and preparing the garden for planting.

At the end of the week, over 500 people gathered for a large community event that included food, games, face painting and music. Many families who attended the event were able for the first time to learn about Family Hope Center and the programs available. Thanks to Second Baptist Church for hosting such a fun week.
