Firefighters who saved baby are there for her again on adoption day

In Oct. 2016, Longview firefighters responded to call from a woman who was experiencing abdominal pains.

They jumped to action upon hearing the lady was 28 weeks pregnant. She gave birth in the Medic Unit. The little girl weighed 2.7 pounds and was struggling to breathe.

They resuscitated the girl, setting her on a path for a bright life.

Fast forward two years, and the firefighters were there again for a special life moment. The girl, Olivia Kate, was adopted in the fall through Buckner International by Katy and Myles Adamson.
