Lubbock family adopts young boy virtually during pandemic

Though courts may not be back in session physically, it isn't stopping families from adding to their forever family. Janice and Brian Whipple from Lubbock adopted Danny, 19 months, last week.

Danny was placed with the Whipple family about one month after they became licensed for foster care and he instantly bonded with Janice and Brian and big brothers Henry and Samuel. Henry and Samuel love to make Danny "belly laugh" and all three boys have developed loving brother relationships.

Danny is adventurous and loves to explore and play. But his favorite past time is to be held by Brian and Janice. They felt called to provide a safe and nurturing place for children through difficult times and hoped to grow their family during this process.

Congratulations Janice, Brian, Henry, Samuel and Danny.
