Brian Robbins
Brian Robbins returned to Buckner in 2024 to oversee retirement services including seven senior living communities in Texas. Previously he served as vice president and chief operating officer of Buckner Retirement Services from 2017 to 2022.
Robbins has more than 20 years of management experience in senior living. Over the course of his career, Robbins supported multiple Life Plan communities in several states and helped open new communities such as Ventana by Buckner in Dallas, Texas. Robbins previously served on the board of directors for LeadingAge Texas, including as chair of its public policy committee.
Prior to his career in senior living, he served in the U.S. Navy, participating in pivotal operations such as Desert Shield/Desert Storm and Noble Eagle/Enduring Freedom.
Robbins holds a bachelor’s degree and certificate in leadership studies from Fort Hays State University as well as certificates in long-term adult care administration from Cowley College and human dimensions of organizations from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Purdue University. He holds nursing home administrator licenses in Kansas, Nebraska and Texas.
