Camp Buckner was established in 1987 and was built from the ground up on 800 acres in the beautiful Texas Hill country. Camp was originally built for the purpose of a youth camp that could house over 100 but now we have grown our mission to serve all ages and many different types of groups with the availably to accommodate over 350. In addition to providing well organized retreat services and comfortable accommodations for church groups and organizations, Camp Buckner also serves vulnerable children with Buckner Foster Care and Adoption and single parent families with Buckner Family Pathways.

Camp Buckner is a ministry of Buckner International, a diverse global ministry to orphaned and vulnerable children and families. Established in 1879, Buckner has answered children’s needs throughout our history. Today, our services include a global humanitarian aid program, volunteer mission’s opportunities, community enrichment and prevention programs, an international network of residential, foster care and transitional housing services, domestic and international adoption and retirement communities.

Camp Buckner is a pleasant drive from most Central Texas cities and only an hour from Austin Bergstrom International Airport. Located 60 miles northwest of Austin, near Marble Falls, we're just around the corner from Longhorn Cavern State Park and Inks Lake. Wildflowers in the spring, cool breezes in the fall, and the lifestyle and natural wonders of the Texas Hill Country make Camp Buckner worth the drive.
