Dr. Albert Reyes has been president and CEO of Buckner International for the last 10 years. In this video, he reflects on that time serving as president and contemplates the role of a leader. 

“It’s very easy for organizations to lose their way, be distracted or drift from their original mission. I think it’s been important for us, as I said years ago when I joined Buckner, we have to recalibrate to Jesus,” Reyes said. “He is not only guiding our work, but he is present in our work. I believe there is a supernatural dimension for making room for Jesus to show up in the everyday routines in what we’re doing, expecting the supernatural, expecting the dynamic, expecting the breath of God to inspire what we’re doing.”
