DALLAS: Sherrington: In the 60s, Ken Norman's signature hook shot took him and A&M basketball a long way

With bracketology and March Madness on the horizon, we thought it would be fun to share a basketball story of our own. Ken Norman learned to play basketball while he awaited a family at Buckner Orphan's Home many years ago. Texas A&M signed him onto their basketball team after high school, where he played through to the school's first outright championship win in 40 years.
