Presley Osborn, a nursing student at Baylor University’s Louise Harrington School of Nursing, takes a blood pressure reading from a local mother during an Oct. 1 Buckner family event at Cigarroa Elementary School in Dallas. The event, held in the Bachman Lake area, drew more than 100 families of Cigarroa students for games, food, health screenings and shoes distribution through Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls®. Buckner has announced plans to provide new services in the Bachman Lake area in the near future.
