New Buckner Ethiopia director hired
ADDIS ABABA – Buckner Ethiopia hired a new director of the nongovernmental organization in December 2012.
Moges Feleke came to Buckner with a background in governmental work. He worked in the Ethiopian government started in 1980 in various regions. He held many different positions over the years.
He has served as a sociologist and social work expert in the foreign relations and development cooperation of the Bureau of Addis Ababa Administration. He has also served on various boards for different humanitarian aid organizations.
Moges served as a church elder and chairperson of elders at one of the biggest churches in Ethiopia. He first joined Buckner as a deputy director.
“We are thrilled to have someone with a background like Moges work for Buckner,” said Randy Daniels, Buckner vice president of global initiatives. “The fact that he has so much experience in NGO work will enhance our ministry in Ethiopia as we continue to shine hope in the darkest places in that country.”
