Buckner Family Place ministries across the state and My Father’s House Lubbock have been renamed Buckner Family Pathways to reflect consistency among the efforts to empower single-parent families.

In seven cities across Texas, Buckner offers family transition programs, residential programs with services designed to strengthen families, enabling single parents to pursue education or vocational training and become self-sufficient. Locally, they were known by Family Pathways, Family Place or My Father’s House Lubbock.

The name change will make it easier for communities to recognize Buckner ministries and understand what they do.

“Family Pathways clearly communicates what these ministries are about,” said Scott Collins, Buckner vice president of communications. “Through in-depth work, we are providing families pathways to strength, health and self-sustainability. So while the names are changing for the sake of consistency, the ministry of Family Pathways remains the same.”

Hi, looking into going back to school and possible assistance/living during that time. Have 3 kids, and live in Dalhart Tx. Would be interested in staying closer to home, but willing to move if needed.
