NextStep
A unique residential program in Dallas, Texas, exclusively for young women, 18 to 24, who have aged out of foster care or had a similar life experience. Young women can be referred to the NextStep program or self-apply if currently living anywhere in the state of Texas.
Teaching young women independence and confidence
Young women can participate in the NextStep program for up to two years while learning and preparing to become independent.
Residents receive a financial stipend twice per month. Additional support can be offered on an individual basis, depending on the resident’s needs.
Some of our program participants work while others take college or vocational classes and work part time. Each young woman can determine her vision for the future. We will be here to support her on that journey and equip her to become independent and confident.
