Comerica Bank hosts floral arrangement class at Buckner Family Hope Center™
On Nov. 15, nearly 50 women gathered together to celebrate the upcoming holidays together, learn a new skill, network and learn more about the services and support offered at the Buckner Family Hope Center™ at Bachman Lake. The Comerica Bank Texas Women's Initiative is a business resource group dedicated to cultivating an inclusive environment that supports and empowers women and women business owners by creating connections and opportunities to engage women in the communities they serve.
Two current clients of the Family Hope Center also attended and created their own floral arrangements.
Margareth Fanini Aviles, Comerica Bank group manager of middle market banking, has a passion for Buckner and what the Family Hope Center does for vulnerable families. She lives out this passion by serving on the Buckner International board of trustees.
Lane's Florist in Dallas provided fresh flowers, vases and guided instruction for beautiful floral displays that will last from now through the holidays.
The attendees also brought donations to the Family Hope Center. Comerica Bank made a financial contribution on behalf of their clients as well.
"Providing families with the resources they need to be successful is one of the many ways Comerica Bank raises expectations of what a bank can be in the communities where we live and serve," said Aviles. "We are proud to support the Buckner Family Hope Center™ and its ongoing efforts to engage, equip and elevate families to ensure they strengthen their foundation and remain together."
