This morning young people across Texas are waking up and getting ready for their first day of school. They're nervously putting on backpacks and wondering what lies ahead.

This month, we're asking the Buckner family to pray for these students and the schools they attend. Please pray:

• For students. Pray they have what they need to succeed, including supplies, tutoring and parental support. 
• For teachers and administrators. Pray they have the energy needed for each day and the wisdom to know how to help each student.
• For families. Pray families enourage and support students throughout the school year.
• For Buckner Family Hope Centers. Hope Centers across the state already have provided supplies for students and are ready to serve through after-school programs. Pray staff members and volunteers connect with students quickly and help them do well.
