Noble Energy helps children succeed in education
More and more, businesses are seeing the value in incorporating giving and volunteer opportunities into their employee programs. There are so many unique ways to align with a nonprofit that fits their corporate culture and passions and in January we’re highlighting a few of the companies that collaborate with Buckner in different, yet amazing ways to impact positive change in our communities.
Meet Noble Energy: A leading independent energy company that’s been around since the 1920s. With a longstanding legacy, Noble Energy understands the value of sustainability and puts their words to action with Buckner. They have been involved with serving vulnerable children and families at the Buckner Family Hope Center at Aldine in Houston since 2011.
In the greater Houston community, the help from Noble Energy and their employees makes a big impact. For back to school, you can find 400 kids sponsored by Noble Energy kicking off the new school year with a festival - complete with backpacks, uniforms, supplies and plenty of Noble Energy volunteers.
They support children in more than just getting ready to go back to school. Each year, they invite many of the children in Buckner programs to enjoy Energy Day, a day of fun learning about energy. In addition, they offer sponsorships for field trips throughout the year to foster further education.
Their support of youth spans from young children all the way up to our children and teen programs at the Family Hope Center at Aldine.
Employees at Noble Energy love the opportunity to work with our staff and help impact the greater Houston area. While many have the ability to volunteer their time, employees also have the opportunity to be generous with other assets they may have.
Thank you to Noble Energy for their dedication to empowering and serving vulnerable families alongside Buckner!
Whether your company has a heart to volunteer their time or support vulnerable children, families and seniors through donations or gifts, we would love to collaborate with you.
