Born in Chihuahua City, Mexico, Roman Molinar was only 8 years old when he moved to the United States with his parents. Priscila, Roman's mother, remembers the excitement the family had about the opportunity to have a new life when they moved to Midland, Texas. But the hopes were soon replaced by challenges she and her son would face in the coming years.

Soon after arriving in Texas, Roman's parents divorced. This left Roman and his mom alone in a new country, with Priscila sustaining her family as a single parent.

In 2017, Priscila heard about Buckner Family Pathways®. For both Roman and Priscila, this program created a turning point in their lives.
