November was National Adoption Month, and Buckner International celebrated as 45 children embraced their forever families through the ministry. In ceremonies across the state, parents legally adopted children as young as infants and as old as teenagers.

James and Hannah Williams of Longview adopted Dakota, 8, Zoe, 6 and Jack, 2. The children were the first placement for the Williams, who cared for them for 554 days before the adoption became final.
