John and Bri Thomas have fostered and adopted children through Buckner International and consider it their calling. John reflects on what it means to be a father and what he loves about being a dad. 

"So as a dad, I always put my best boot forward," John said. "The kids are always looking up to you. They love you. They look at you as a role model. They want to be like you. So you have to put your best boots on. The kind of father I'd like to be is just one like Christ."
