More and more, businesses are seeing the value in incorporating giving and volunteer opportunities into their employee programs. There are so many unique ways to align with a nonprofit that fits their corporate culture and passions and in January we’re highlighting a few of the companies that collaborate with Buckner in different, yet amazing ways to impact positive change in our communities. 

Meet Brinks. Their collaboration with Buckner began with the goal to serve vulnerable children and strengthen families in the Dallas area. Brinks' creativity with its corporate social responsibility initiative blossomed as they challenged employees at different branch locations to rally around filling a Brinks trunk for the Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls® program.

The support of Brinks continued to grow and by August 2019, they hosted their own Shoes for Orphan Souls drive, involving all 600 employees and three local branches, where nearly 150 pairs of shoes were collected. 

Today, you can find Brinks collaborating with Buckner through matching employee gifts, volunteering at the Buckner Center for Humanitarian Aid, sponsoring foster care Christmas parties and continuing to support Shoes for Orphan Souls.

For each employee at Brinks, there is a place at Buckner where their passions are seen and there are endless opportunities to serve.
