When Krystal Smith first came to Buckner Family Pathways, she was hopeless. Being a single parent is difficult. It means being mom, dad, counselor, doctor and many other roles. That can make it hard to focus on your own dreams. Family Pathways gave Krystal the opportunity to gain an education and build self-sufficiency for her family. At Family Pathways, Krystal was given the resources to transform her life and take it to where she wanted to be.
