Buckner Retirement Services Announces Two New Additions to Leadership Team

DALLAS – Buckner Retirement Services has announced two new employees to their leadership team. Jordan Lovelady, a veteran financial planner and analyst with the Raytheon Company, has accepted a position as financial analyst while Terri Wimberly, a seasoned certified public accountant, will take on the role of hospice revenue cycle manager.

As financial analyst, Lovelady will develop and implement reporting tools for BRS financial performance; report finances and analyze trends on behalf of BRS for Buckner International’s financial office; and develop and enhance financial reporting tools for business efficiency and strategy.

Lovelady served a cumulative six years at Raytheon as a financial analyst for the SAS Operations Finance division in Dallas, Texas and as a financial analyst in Raytheon’s IIS Financial Planning and Analysis division in Garland. He also served as an intern for Raytheon and as a mathematics teacher and coach for Hall Heritage School in Oklahoma City.

BRS Senior Vice President Charlie Wilson said Lovelady brings “a unique skillset” to the senior living ministry of Buckner. “Jordan is a problem-solver with an analytical mind and a thorough understanding of financial database systems. Those skillsets, along with his experience and strong communication skills will make him an invaluable player as we continue to grow our operations and ministry to elders.”

Lovelady earned a bachelor of business administration degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He and his wife, Kendra, live in Dallas.

Wimberly brings a wealth of knowledge from her 25 years of professional work experience ranging from careers in public and private accounting to commercial real estate and insurance consulting. She began her career as an account auditor at Deloitte Touche, served as Vice President and real estate broker for Henry S. Miller, Co./Grubb & Ellis, and went on to start TCW Insurance and work as a sales and consultant agent.

Wimberly will work closely alongside the BRS hospice team to assist in the growth and strengthening of the programs across the state. Wimberly will be influential in overseeing compliance regulations, establishing the hospice budget, and implementing processes that assure timely Medicare billing.

“Wimberly brings not only the knowledge, but the passion needed to make a difference in the lives of our hospice ministry,” said Susan Udell, BRS Senior Director for Community Based Services. “I am confident that Terri has exactly what it takes to strengthen our program so that we can better serve more senior adults in our communities.”

Wimberly also received her bachelor of business administration degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She currently resides in Dallas.

Buckner Retirement Services, Inc., is a faith-based, not-for profit senior living provider with seven communities in Texas. In 2011, BRS was recognized by Ziegler Senior Living Investment Banking in its 2011 LeadingAge Zeigler 100 as Texas’ largest not-for-profit multi-site living organization. That same index ranked BRS as 36th in the nation.
