Residents of Westminster Place, a Buckner senior living community in Longview, Texas, made their local firefighters' holidays a little sweeter with a special delivery of homemade pies.

One resident expressed his appreciation for the local fire department well:

“It makes us feel good because they're good to us. Over at Buckner they make a run over there every day or two, sometimes more than once a day. Some of them are necessary and some of them are not, but they never know until they get there. It's good to have them this close and them to be as nice as they are,” said Marion Garrison, Buckner resident.
