Celebrate Advent as a family
This year has brought challenges and tragedies for many of us. Advent offers a special time to refocus on the miracle we've been given: Jesus.
As children, the Christmas season brings a unique wonder and anticipation. In the Bible, there are many verses containing wonder and anticipation for the birth of the Son of God.
"Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel." – Isaiah 7:14
What if we paused this Advent season to take in the miraculous gift we have been given? What if we put a hold on the hustle of Christmas and stopped to soak in the joy? What if we had that child-like faith and anticipation again?
We invite you to journey toward Christmas with us with the Buckner Advent Guide. Each day offers a short devotional to guide you and your family through the themes of hope, peace, love and joy. The Advent Guide will begin on Dec. 3, the first day of Advent.
In addition, you'll find an activity available for each week to help create special Christmas memories together.
