Each May at Buckner, we celebrate National Foster Care Month. We say “celebrate” on purpose – not because it is a happy occasion when a child enters foster care, but because through Buckner foster families, God is working miracles in the lives of children who do enter foster care and in their biological families.

Throughout this month, you’ll hear from church leaders, foster care staff and Buckner foster parents about foster care. You’ll learn more about the need, how to become a foster parent, and even how to support foster families in your community if you’re not quite ready to take the leap into become a foster parent.
