Faith Focus: Ministry prayer request from Iraq
As part of the worldwide response to help refugees, Buckner shipped more than 6,700 pairs of shoes donated through Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls® to a missionary who works in the area. At the end of September 2015, she traveled more than a day to deliver the shoes to refugees living in overcrowded camps, fleeing with only the clothes on their backs.
This week, we are asking the Buckner family to pray for the Yazidis.
•Pray that a resolution to this atrocious situation can be found.
•Ask God to protect the Yazidis in their vulnerability.
•Pray the Yazidis will come to know God as a result of the shoe distribution.
•Pray for the missionary working in the area. It is a difficult and dangerous area to serve, yet she remains committed to it.
