Put Family First
Where Crescenciana Sosa lives, there are no electrical services. There’s no running water. No sanitation services, either. Everyone buys clean water from a water truck every three to five days so they can cook, drink, wash dishes and bathe.
A neighbor told Crescenciana about the Buckner Family Hope Center. She decided to give it a shot. Eight months later, she and her five children, ages 11, 9, 7, 4 and 2 are going there several times a week to take advantage of all the hope center offers.
At the Family Hope Center, Crescenciana has learned how to cook, craft and connect with others. Children at the hope center learn English and computer skills as well as make friends. The Sosa family has been radically transformed.
