Families served by the Buckner Family Hope Center and Buckner Family Pathways at Reed Road in Houston came together to celebrate the Fourth of July with Buckner staff, food and fun for the whole family.

Buckner partnered with New Hope Housing to offer activities such as relay races, face painting, patriotic arts and crafts and bingo. Nearly 60 people enjoyed the festivities that welcomed them to the new Family Hope Center and Family Pathways in Houston.

This summer, you can shine by participating in the Buckner Shine This Summer campaign along with a special $200,000 Matching Grant that doubles the value of each gift Buckner receives by Aug. 31. Every gift will be put to work to help single-parent families across Texas who are living in extreme poverty, fear and vulnerability.
