How do you respond in the face of adversity?

A year ago, we started hearing about the coronavirus. Most of us assumed it was a problem for the rest of the world. Surely, nothing as tiny of the virus could affect us.

We quickly realized we all had a problem and needed to deal with this virus

"Our teams at Buckner moved immediately into high gear, making plans to continue our ministries in the safest way possible," said Buckner President and CEO Albert Reyes. "We knew our mission to follow the example of Jesus in serving vulnerable children, families and seniors had just taken on greater importance. We knew in a global crisis like this the vulnerable are even more vulnerable." 

What we thought was impossible became possible

Today, a year after the pandemic took hold, our teams across Buckner in every location in every ministry are meeting the needs and serving others.
