Let's kick the summer off right!

The Buckner Family Hope Center at Wynnewood in Dallas recently brought the community together to kick off the season with the Summer Fam Fest and Health Fair. Smiles and cheer filled the air as children played games, got their face painted and ate hot dogs. Parents learned about services and summer opportunities available for their families.

Social services are particularly critical for children during the summer when help like free or reduced lunches and breakfasts are not available. The Hope Center provides programming and aid that empowers, equips and elevates vulnerable children and families during this time.

Families were able to meet their neighbors, make new friends and discover new ways to enjoy the summer. Check out the video above for a taste of the festivities.
