LUBBOCK, Texas - When going through a rough patch in life the easiest thing to do is just give-up. A Lubbock woman did quite the opposite. She has battled several obstacles including cancer, and even lost all her possessions in a house fire. However, that did not stop Emma Deleon from volunteering at My Father's House.

"I've never volunteered at a place that is so kind to people," she said. So loving. I had to give back. I had to get-up and go do something kind for someone else."
