Seven EKG graduates celebrate virtually with Buckner Family Hope Center at Wynnewood staff
The Buckner Family Hope Center at Wynnewood celebrated their first virtual graduation for seven EKG students. All students are participants in the Level Up program at the Family Hope Center and are now certified to work in health care facilities with electrocardiogram testing.
The Level Up program offers bundled support through the Working Families Success grant Buckner received in 2020. Families and individuals are able to receive support in finances, life stability, employment opportunities and more through just one program.
It was important to the Buckner staff to celebrate this milestone for these graduates.
“Some of their testimonies are that they’ve never really finished anything or saw something to the end, so we encouraged them to finish strong, and they were able to pivot when things changed due to COVID-19,” shared Cheryl Williams, Family Hope Center director. “It was important to show off that they finished and accomplished this. This profession in this industry is so important now, so the fact they get to graduate in this fruitful industry is exciting.”
We are so excited to celebrate our newest EKG graduates!
