Child welfare leaders and advocates will unite 2 p.m. Aug. 26 on Capitol Hill to speak for children in need of families throughout the world at the Step Forward for Orphans March. Supporters are invited to join in the march to promote permanency for children.

Craig Juntunen, founder of Both Ends Burning, initiated the event with a question: “How can we make the greatest impact in the shortest period of time to serve as many children as possible?”

His answer? “Grow a social movement that will move the cultural needle that forces policy change, which will lead to more children finding their way into families.”
