OK! So you want to know what it’s like to work at our camp. Here’s the quick rundown:

Your primary job duties will include lifeguarding (pool, blob, slide, or waterfront swimming area), teaching archery, or facilitating the adventure course and zip line. There will be some days you report to work as early as 7 a.m. or as late as 9 a.m. There will be some days you work through 6 p.m. or as late as 11 p.m. When you’re not facilitating activities or participating in an evening programming, you may be helping out in kitchen, cleaning cabins on turn-over days, or doing trash/toilet run.

At the end of the day, we will ask that you are in your room and your lights are out at the proper time so you will be rested for the upcoming day. Trust me … getting enough rest is important in order to be an effective servant of God. As soon as a group leaves, all summer staff members will participate in cleaning the rooms in preparation for the next incoming group ready to have their life changed.

There will be rotating time off (both full day and evenings) so you can leave camp to run some errands, eat out, catch a movie, visit with your friends and families, etc. Go and have fun!

Your time with God is so important to us. We want to make sure your personal devotion time will be a part of your daily schedule. At least 30 minutes will be allotted for you in your schedule to spend time with God. You may spend that time in prayer, reading the Word, journaling or just enjoying the time alone with God. Whatever it looks like for you, we simply want your relationship with Christ to be the first thing you seek every day. As part of our discipleship program, we will put in weekly schedule for Bible study, prayer, accountability and recap session.
