Hurricane Harvey caused additional hardships for families already struggling in Houston and Beaumont, but Halliburton jumped into action. They provided immediate relief to Buckner families with bottled water and helped with a more complex situation of transporting families out of 18-inch waters in Beaumont to dry land at Camp Buckner.

Halliburton has continued to empower its employees to volunteer and generously contributed company resources to positively impact lives of those in the greater Houston area, from hosting back-to-school and toy drives to including the Buckner Family Hope Center at Aldine as one of the charities benefiting from Halliburton's golf tournament. With 12,000 employees in Texas alone, Halliburton also has employees who volunteer to support STEM work for children and teenagers in the Buckner Family Hope Centers at Aldine and Reed Road. Halliburton operates from a corporate social responsibility goal of making communities stronger, and it has done just that.
