In Midland, our ministries serve vulnerable children and families with resources and support to protect children, strengthen families and transform generations.
For single mom Sherenda, graduating from Buckner Family Pathways® created stability in her life and set her and her three sons on a path toward success. For families in the community, they've received needed school supplies and access to other community resources through the Buckner Family Hope Center®. And for Brooklyn and her younger brother Anthony, Buckner Foster Care and Adoption helped them become a forever family while she pursued her goals through Family Pathways.
Buckner provides resources and training needed to become a family to a child for a season or forever through domestic foster care or adoption. Children in these programs are most often referred through the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services due to abuse, neglect or abandonment. We also respond to mothers experiencing an unplanned pregnancy with counseling and support. For more information, call 432.520.5588. Visit our office.
We provide single-parent families the opportunity to live in a safe, secure environment while the parent works toward their educational or vocational goals and learning skills needed to be self-sufficient. Families are provided support through access to affordable housing, financial assistance, counseling, spiritual growth and more. For more information, call 432.520.5588 or fill out an inquiry form.
The Family Hope Center model offers families a place of hope, support and empowerment to reach their fullest God-given potential. Our programs engage through family assistance and community events; equip families through education, financial empowerment, child and youth development; and elevate families through one-on-one coaching, counseling and spiritual enrichment. For more information, call 432.310.0104. Visit the Family Hope Center today.
