Since 2013, Wells Fargo branches in the Rio Grande Valley have constructed five local homes for families served by the Buckner Family Hope Center at Peñitas. In addition to helping finance the builds, Wells Fargo contributes three days where employee volunteers come and help build the homes. When Wells Fargo celebrated its “Day of Caring,” it sent 60 volunteers to help construct another new home benefiting a Buckner family in the Rio Grande Valley.

Wells Fargo employees also volunteer to teach classes to families at the Buckner Family Hope Center at Peñitas and have been instrumental in supporting Buckner’s economic strengthening initiatives, including a business pitch competition, to help families become self-sustainable financially.
