Together, we can shine hope into the lives of vulnerable children and families in the Bachman Lake community.
As we seek to strengthen families and protect children in the area, Buckner offers several ways for individuals and families to get involved in the Shining Hope Dallas Campaign.
Go serve in Bachman Lake. Your skills, gifts and talents can help children and families. Distribute shoes collected through Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls®. Hand out backpacks and school supplies. Mentor a student. Teach a class.
Volunteer now!
Give financially. Buckner works with people compelled by faith to bring Christ-centered, redemptive ministry to the most vulnerable, from the beginning to the ending of life. If you are searching for your vision for a meaningful way to give, we offer a variety of opportunities to you. We intentionally cultivate and manage relationships with current and prospective donors to secure and manage gifts that will support our restorative, healing, life-enhancing ministries. If you want to be a part of the transformative work of Buckner by supporting our global initiatives, consider giving today.
Our investment strategies and careful stewardship of gifts have led to endowment fund growth and enabled us to produce adequate income to cover administrative costs.

Tell others. Many people just like you would respond to the needs of children and families in the Bachman Lake area if they only knew about them. You can be a catalyst for hope by sharing the need with individuals in your sphere of influence. Shine hope by:
- Posting about the Shining Hope Dallas Campaign on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Use #hopeshineshere.
- Hosting a dinner party. Bring your friends together to talk about the needs in Bachman Lake and how you can help Buckner strengthen families and protect children. Use the videos and resources on our media page.
- Talking about the Buckner Family Hope Center with your friends, co-workers and your church family.
